F.1. Recommend Approval of APL Access & Security, Inc's. Proposal for Front Office Security
|
F.1.a. District Administration recommends approval for APL Access & Security, Inc. to provide materials and installation of front office lobby remote entry systems to enhance site security. Please see the attached proposal for details of the project. The purchase would utilize pricing through Mohave Contract # 221-APLAS-1116 and includes Davis Bacon wages. This project would be funded with ESSER funds. The proposed total cost is $200,131.

F.2. Recommend Approval for Bluum USA, Inc. to Provide Audio-Visual Equipment for the New Community Learning Center and Early Learning Center
|
F.2.a. District Administration recommends approval for Bluum USA, Inc. to provide materials and installation of audio-visual equipment in the new Community Learning Center and Early Learning Center. This includes the school intercom system and speakers, flat panel displays, AV controls, cabling, racks, mounts, and installation and programming of all equipment. See the attached memo for more details. The purchase would utilize pricing through Mohave Contract # 20F-TROX-1003. This project would be funded with gifts and donations specifically earmarked for this purpose. The proposed total cost is $102,685.74.

G.1. Recommend Approval of Revisions to Job Descriptions
|
G.1.a. District Administration recommends approval to revise 10 job descriptions, all associated with Maintenance and Grounds positions, to include the statement "Other duties as assigned." The addition of this statement would bring consistency between these positions and many other positions that already include this language and would provide administrative flexibility in assigning tasks that otherwise are not explicitly listed. Draft versions of the 10 job descriptions are attached for reference, with the new statement underlined.

G.2. Recommend Approval of Position Description for Operations Specialist - Federal Programs and Technology
|
G.2.a. District Administration recommends approval of the position description for Operations Specialist - Federal Programs and Technology. This position would replace the current Administrative Assistant to the Director of Federal Programs position. The hourly rate of compensation would remain consistent with the current position. A draft of the new Operations Specialist position description is attached.

G.3. Recommend Approval to Increase Hourly Rate for Support Staff Substitutes
|
G.3.a. District Administration recommends approval to increase the hourly rate for Support Staff Substitutes from the current $13.00/hour to $13.85/hour, to become effective January 1, 2023. This increase maintains compliance with Arizona's minimum wage requirements. All other positions in the District already are at or above the new (January 1, 2023) minimum wage of $13.85/hour.
