F.5.a. District administration recommends approval to revise the 2023-2024 Support Salary Schedule to clearly identify the two positions compensated at the rate of minimum wage (Student Worker, and Support Staff Substitute) and to establish a differential of $0.28 between the positions of Support Staff Substitute and Support Staff Substitute TA2. Revisions are highlighted on the attached Salary Schedule. These revisions would enhance clarity, would eliminate the need for mid-year revisions to this scale due to mandatory minimum wage increases in January, and would help prevent errors in calculating future rates.
