|
E.1.a. District administration recommends approval to contract with Dave Bang Associates, Inc. to install new shade structures at Richardson and Homer Davis Elementary Schools. The shade structures will provide much-needed shade over existing play structures. The purchase would utilize pricing through the Mohave Contract # 20Q-BANG2-0402. The total cost for the shade structures is $100,823.07. The projects would be funded with District Additional Assistance/Unrestricted Capital funds.

E.2. Recommend Approval to Purchase 900 Chromebooks
|
E.2.a. District administration recommends approval to purchase 900 Chromebooks from CDW-G utilizing Mohave state contract pricing (20F-CDWG-1003) totaling $235,983.10. Of these, 400 devices would be reserved for 2025 Summer School at FWHS and 100 for 2025 Summer School at FWJH, and then would be assigned to students for home use during the 2025-2026 school year. The other 400 devices would be deployed throughout the 2024-2025 school year as needed for student use in school and at home. ESSER III grant funding would be utilized for this purchase.

E.3. Recommend Approval of Revision to Support Salary Schedule

E.3.a. District administration recommends approval of a revision to the FY2024-2025 Support Salary Schedule to restore the position of Bilingual Support Assistant, which had not been included on the previously approved Salary Schedule. The starting rate of pay for this position would be $16.45/hour. The revision is highlighted on the attached document.

E.4. Recommend Approval of Revision to Classified Calendar by Group
|
E.4.a. District administration recommends approval of a revision to the FY2024-2025 Classified Calendar by Group to restore the position of Bilingual Support Assistant, which had not been included on the previously approved Classified Calendar. This position would follow the Group B Calendar, with a start date of July 31, 2024, and an ending date of May 22, 2025. The revision is highlighted on the attached document.

F.4.a. District administration recommends approval to establish an advisory committee for review and possible recommendation of a new high school health curriculum. The committee will be representative of parents, teachers, and administrators, and will evaluate resources for alignment with Arizona health standards and with state laws regarding family life education.
