F.1. Discussion of Mid-Year Analysis of Revenues and Expenses for Flowing Wells Community Schools Programs
|
F.1.a. District Administration presents for review an analysis of FY 2022 annual and FY 2023 mid-year reports on the revenues and expenses related to Community Schools. The FY2022 report shows a positive balance. The FY 2023 mid-year report indicates Community Schools has a deficit of $49,985. However, this is partially due to a lag in DES payments which are approximately two months behind. In addition, it is offset by revenue received from the Empower Stabilization Childcare Grant. This grant provides support and assistance to cover childcare costs during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The revisions simply entail changing the timeframe by which the evaluation must take place to "not later than January 31" (from the current December 18), which would allow the evaluation to align with the mid-year presentation of Goals. The accompanying policy draft includes strike-through text to indicate deletions and underlined text to indicate additions.
