District Administration recommends approval of the December 2022 teacher compensation payment in the amount of $210 from the Instructional Improvement Fund, which derives from the voter-approved funding source that was passed in 2002 and is known as the Proposition 202 Indian Gaming Preservation and Self Reliance Act.

F.2. Recommend Approval to Renew the Lease Agreement with the Tucson Electrical Joint Apprenticeship Training Program
|
F.2.a. District Administration recommends approval to renew the lease agreement with the Tucson Electrical Joint Apprenticeship Training Program for the property located at 1949 W. Gardner Lane. The new lease term would extend from December 1, 2022, through October 31, 2023.

F.3. Recommend Approval to Add Shot Clock Operator Position to Special Activity Compensation (SAC) Schedule
|
F.3.a. District Administration recommends approval to add the position of Shot Clock Operator to the SAC Schedule. The Arizona Interscholastic Association (AIA) updated the rules for high school men's and women's basketball games to include a shot clock, which will require the attention of a designated individual throughout each game. The compensation rate for this new position would be $20 per game, which is comparable to the rate of pay for the Scorekeeper position.

G.2.a. District administration recommends a sixty-day table of the McGraw Hill Exploring Civics & Economics curriculum to allow for public review and comment prior to a formal request to adopt the curriculum for use in eighth grade Social Studies.
