I.D.1) Oneida Township School District #3 Resolution Withdrawal: The Superintendent is requesting the Eaton RESA Board of Education to reconsider and withdraw the previously adopted resolution dated January 17, 2024, which declared the dissolution of Oneida Township School District #3. This request is prompted by recent revelations concerning the properties encompassed by the resolution, which are shared by both Oneida Township School District #3 and Grand Ledge Public Schools.

I.D.2) Wide Area Network (WAN) Bids: Our county consortium for the WAN will expire on June 30, 2024. Michael Partridge, Technology Director, is recommending that the Board award the bid to Zayo, our current provider, for a term of five years (July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2029). We anticipate a 70% E-rate reimbursement on the gross cost. The new five-year contract, after the E-rate discount, will have a cost of $158,364 for the term of the contract while increasing gigabytes.

I.E.1) Superintendent Evaluation: Board members will conduct the Superintendent’s annual, summative evaluation in closed session, as requested by the Superintendent, to determine performance ratings for professional practice, student growth and district goals progress components of the MASB Superintendent Evaluation tool.
