Speaker(s):
Mr. Steven Rioux
Rationale:

The annual CAPSS Student Leadership Award Ceremony was held on Tuesday evening, December 4 at Killingly High School.  This recognition program is in its 32nd year.

53 students were recognized from 12 school districts, including Killingly. Each district is allowed to present one award for every 250 students enrolled in their district.

Two students each (boy and a girl) from KMS, KIS and KHS  were carefully chosen to be this years' recipients.

The students accomplishments and activities go far beyond academics and include service to others, and leadership, hence making them role-models for other students.

This years' students are; from KMS-Andrew Kamara & Presley Waterman; from KIS-Grace Deojay & Owen Johnson; and from KHS-Alexandra Chitwood & Blake Wolanin.
