Speaker(s):
Jeff Buchbinder
Rationale:

The Policy Sub-Committee met on Feb. 25, 2016. The committee did not see the necessity for the additional language after the first paragraph, therefore, the language  in this policy was shortened considerably.

Streamlining new state-mandates in policies is a proposed goal of  the committee when reviewing or revising but specificity will be maintained in policy when deemed necessary. As past practice,  revised  or new policies will always be forwarded  as action items to the full Board as FIRST and SECOND Readings.
