III.A. Adjacent Ways Authority For Fire Lane Access- Dr. Koerperich
Description:
A.R.S. § 15-995 authorizes school districts to fund improvements adjacent to district property necessary for safe access, including roadways, sidewalks, utility lines, and fire lane access improvements. The proposed Adjacent Ways use is limited solely to fire lane access improvements associated with the Park Elementary gym project. We are requesting Governing Board approval to proceed with Adjacent Ways funding and posting of the Truth in Taxation Notice as required by law.  The Adjacent Ways funding will be part of the FY 27 proposed budget.

Recommendation: Discussion and consideration to approve the Adjacent Ways for a fire lane access at Park Elementary according to A.R.S. 15-955 as presented.

III.B. Special Education Director Contract Extension For SY 25-26- Dr. Koerperich
Description:
Special Education Director, Dr. Jeff Meeks, is on a modified contract as the Special Education Director.  Due to Arizona Department of Education auditing and special education duties we are requesting to extend Dr. Meek's SY 25-26 contract 10 additional days to be used by June 30, 2026.

Recommendation: Discussion and consideration to extend Dr. Jeff Meek's contract 10 additional days to be completed by June 30, 2026 as presented.

Description:
Holbrook USD #3 is seeking Governing Board approval of a Navajo County Consortium Agreement between the Holbrook School District and Navajo County Educational Services for contracted counseling services for SY 26-27 as presented.

Recommendation: Discussion and consideration to approve the Navajo County Consortium Services Agreement for counseling services at Holbrook High School for SY 26-27.
