Donna ISD recognizes our elementary, middle, and high school art teachers for earning the Texas Art Education Association District of Distinction recognition. This statewide honor reflects a strong commitment to visual arts through competitions, exhibitions, community events, and student opportunities. Every level of our art program contributed to this achievement, with elementary, middle, and high school teachers each meeting key requirements and creating opportunities for students to participate and showcase their work. It truly took the entire team.

The combination of preventative maintenance, repairs, emergency services, and water treatment provides Donna ISO with a proactive approach to facility management. These services help preserve District assets, maintain safe and comfortable learning environments, minimize disruptions to instructional activities, and reduce the likelihood of costly premature equipment replacement. Investing in ongoing maintenance and timely service is therefore a cost-effective strategy for protecting public resources while supporting the District's educational mission. Region One Education Service Center will provide two rounds of Dual Language Program Implementation Learning Walks at 14 Donna ISD campuses during the 2026-2027 school year. The learning walks will monitor program implementation and gather evidence related to biliteracy instruction, language allocation, instructional alignment, student engagement, and overall program fidelity. Following campus visits, Region One ESC will provide executive reports identifying district wide and campus-specific trends and actionable recommendations to guide instructional decision-making, professional learning, and continued improvement of the district's Dual Language program.
