II.C. Discussion of Levy Strategy - Post Referendum
|
|
|
Description:
We have been working with Elizabeth Hennessy on the District's current levy strategy and will provide the Committee with an insight in advance of the November Board Meeting.
Either way, we will need to file a supplemental levy for the purposes of adequately levying bond and interest amounts due to the new issue. A copy of the preliminary document has been attached, as prepared by our Bond Counsel at Chapman, Kyle Harding. |

II.D. PHSD23 & PHPD IGA for Utilization of Eisenhower School

Description:
As previously discussed with the Committee, a formalized intergovernmental agreement is attached for review. The agreement will take effect in August, 2027 and will allow for the Prospect Heights Park District's before and after school care program to be offered at Eisenhower school beginning with the 2027-28 school year.

Description:
Our contract with our current Managed Service Provider, Empist, is up for re-solicitation. We are currently working with the Technology Department to review the Request for Proposal and plan to have the solicitation on the street by early December.

II.G. Bid for Draper Window Shades at Eisenhower School - Update
|
|
|
Description:
As one of the projects that is being managed by the District, the bid for window shades at Eisenhower School is being finalized. We are issuing the solicitation for the same Draper (SW2400) roller shades that match what have already been installed at the four other buildings. We anticipate a December award for shades to be installed this summer.

II.H. Natural Gas Solicitation - Nania Energy
|
|
|
Description:
The District's natural gas agreement expires on November 30th of this year, and we have a deadline on November 15th to make a change to a new supplier. We are currently working with our partners at Nania Energy to solicit the most advantageous pricing, as we don't want to be exposed to the open market over the winter. Current rates are attached. We will continue to monitor the rates and work to lock in at the lowest point over the next week or so, in advance of the November Board meeting.
