The Arkansas Excellence in Teaching Fellowship is a nine-month program launched in summer 2025 to recognize and support some of the state’s top educators, particularly those earning merit pay, while highlighting exemplary teaching for the public. Brendan Lowe, president of Each Day Communications, and facilitator of the Arkansas Excellent in Teaching Fellowship, will introduce the 2026-2027 cohort.

The division is requesting that these rules be adopted and submitted to the General Assembly for review.  This rule is being promulgated pursuant to the requirements of Act 911 of 2025.  A public comment period ran from August 2nd to September 2nd and a public hearing was held on August 21st.

IX.2. Correction to the Ozarks Unlimited Resources Educational Cooperative 2026 Annual Report
Description:
Ark. Code Ann. § 6-13-1020(a) requires Education Service Cooperatives to submit an annual report to the State Board of Education for approval and outlines the content that must be included in each report. On August 13, 2026, the State Board voted to approve the 2026 reports for all 15 cooperatives. Below is a corrected report for the Ozarks Unlimited Resources Educational Cooperative.
