I. Call Meeting to Order and Establish Quorum

President Sarah Robinson called the meeting to order at 5:30 pm and announced the presence of a quorum.

The board entered executive session at 6:48 pm and reconvened in open session at 7:24 pm.

Discussion:
Bryan Strand voiced the prayer and led the Pledge. Members each recite a portion of the Motto, Vision, Mission, and Beliefs.

V. Budget Workshop

Tess Baker, Director of Finance/Dr. Kelly Burns, Superintendent
Discussion:
Director of Finance Tess Baker presented the Draft Proposal for the 2026-27 school year. The board discussed a possible budget deficit and reviewed estimated Average Daily Attendance (ADA), enrollment and individual line items within the proposed budget.

The board was provided information regarding new parental rights training for school board trustees through the Texas Education Agency (TEA).
