2.E. Central Mountain Middle School Rodent Concerns
Description:
Ehrlich Pest Control was onsite 10/15/2026 to address the infestation. Report is attached.
Principal Laura Fragassi is requesting the teaching staff remove all food from classrooms or store it in sealed containers. The cafeteria workers have stored all possible food in sealed containers. In working with Ehrlich, the maintenance team sealed penetrations, installed door sweeps, and supplied the school with traps. We have checked and replenished traps each day. All trash throughout the building is to be removed each day. 10/21/2026 - PA Food Safety Inspector onsite to assess conditions around the kitchen and cafeteria. The Inspector was very pleased with the actions we have taken to reduce or eliminate rodent infestation so far. |
