Description:  The Joint Operating Committee meeting convened at 6:30pm on Thursday, August 20, 2026, with JOC Vice President, Mr. Shafer, presiding.

• Prior to this evening’s meeting, there was a closed Executive Session held to discuss personnel, collective bargaining, and student confidentiality. The session convened at 6:37 p.m. and adjourned at 7:05 p.m.

• Armstrong Elementary Volleyball to use the Lenape Gymnasium for Volleyball Practice on Mondays and Wednesdays, October 19, 2026 - December 16, 2026, from 5:00pm - 7:00pm, as per board policy.
• Armstrong County Democratic Committee to use the Lenape Cafeteria for Annual Fall Banquet, on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 5:00pm to 9:30pm, as per board policy.
• Elks West Central District to use the Lenape Gymnasium for the Elks Hoop Shoot on Sunday, January 31, 2027, from 1:00pm - 3:00pm, as per board policy.
• Approval for Armstrong Conservation District to use the Natural Resources shop to hold the Annual Tree and Seedling Sale from Tuesday, April 5, 2027 to Friday, April 9, 2027 during school hours only and on Saturday, April 10, 2027 from 8:30am to Noon as per board policy.

Description:  The Joint Operating Committee members who are present at the meeting, will submit their vote for the PSBA Election of officers. The Board Secretary will cast the majority vote.
