4. MEETING MINUTES

4.A. Approval of June 24, 2026, minutes of the Sto-Rox School District Board of Directors Combined Agenda Review and Legislative Voting Meeting

4.B. As per Parkway West CTC, no minutes will be approved for release during the month of August from their Joint Operating Committee.  Minutes review and release to member districts will resume in September.

5. Board Resolutions- Finance, Buildings, and Grounds

5.A. Based upon the recommendation of the Superintendent and Business Manager, the Board of School Directors ratifies authorization of the 2026-2027 Homestead and Farmstead Exclusion real estate tax assessment reductions for the school year beginning July 1, 2026, under the provisions of the Homestead Property Exclusion Program Act (part of Act 50 of 1998) and the Taxpayer Relief Act (Act 1 of 2006), as follows:

• Total Qualifying Homesteads within school district boundaries identified by Allegheny County is 1,976.
•  Total Qualifying Farmsteads within school district boundaries identified by Allegheny County is 0.
•  The Sto-Rox School District has calculated the maximum real estate tax reduction applicable to each approved Homestead as $751.73.

5.B. Based upon the recommendation of the Superintendent and Business Manager, the Board of School Directors retroactively approves the payment of bills during the summer break and as authorized by June 24, 2026 Board action.

5.C. Based upon the recommendation of the Superintendent and Business Manager, the Board of School Directors authorizes payment of all obligations identified in the current List of Bills submitted by the Business Office.

5.D. At the recommendation of the Superintendent and Business Manager, the Board of School Directors hereby approves a contracted services agreement with Turnley Robertson & Associates LLC, whereby an independent audit of June 30, 2026 financial statements will be performed by duly certified members of the Turnley Robertson team and in accordance with Accounting standards generally accepted in the United States of America (GAAP) at a cost not to exceed $19,000.00.

5.E. At the recommendation of the Superintendent, the Board of School Directors retroactively authorizes a contracted services agreement with October HR for a period of twelve (12) months, beginning July 1, 2026, during which time Independent Contractor Bobbi-Ann Barnes will provide federal programs oversight and coordination at a cost not to exceed $90.00 per hour, an amount equivalent to the program management fee charged by the Allegheny Intermediate Unit during fiscal year 2025-2026 for similar services.

5.F. Based upon the recommendation of the Superintendent and Business Manager, the Board of School Directors hereby authorizes permission to apply the remaining balance (approximately $300,000.00)  from the $1.6 million capital projects set aside of unbudgeted funds authorized by the Board on April 23, 2026 for specific capital projects to enhance security measures including but not limited to moving District offices to an unused wing of the Junior-Senior High School and thereby limiting visitor access to students during the school day.  The Board further acknowledges that a portion of project funding will be covered additionally by reallocation of unspent funds remaining from the District’s Title IV Stronger Connections Grant that was awarded to the District in 2022.

5.F.1. In accordance with procurement compliance guidelines, the Board of School Directors hereby authorizes administration to accept a quote in an amount not to exceed $31,741.00 for supplies and services to be provided by Communications Consulting, Inc., with said supplies and services including, but not limited to main entrance and main office repairs at the Junior-Senior High School and installation of new wiring to support an enhanced electronic access system.

5.F.2. In accordance with procurement compliance guidelines, the Board of School Directors hereby authorizes administration to accept a quote in an amount not to exceed $390,000.00 for supplies and services to be provided by Building Contractors United, with said supplies and services including but not limited to electrical repair and replacement, drywall repair and replacement, installation of fireproof doors, asbestos removal, and removal of obsolete and broken equipment having been stored in the unused wing of the Junior-Senior High School.

5.G. (NEW) At the recommendation of the Superintendent and Director of Buildings and Grounds, the Board of School Directors hereby authorizes a contracted services agreement with Dr. Wayne McCullough for a period of six (6) months whereby Dr. McCullough, as an Independent Contractor, will provide project management and administrative support to the Director of Buildings and Grounds, at a cost not to exceed $16,000.00, which is 1% of unbudgeted proceeds converted through prior Board action as a set aside for specific capital project repairs and safety enhancements at the Sto-Rox Junior-Senior High School.

5.H. At the recommendation of the Superintendent and Director of Buildings and Grounds, the Board of School Directors approves the facilitation of bleacher inspections as required annually at Sto-Rox Junior-Senior High School and Sto-Rox Upper Elementary School at a cost not to exceed $1,862.00, with the inspections being performed by Eichenlaub Co.

5.I. At the recommendation of the Chief Recovery Officer, the Board of School Directors hereby authorizes a transfer from the General Fund 10 to Capital Reserve Fund 33 in the amount of $3.8 million, with said action restricting usage of this portion of funds in order to ensure compliance with unrestricted General Fund balance guidelines, along with continued support of the following Financial Recovery priorities as established in 2022:

• Establishment of budgetary reserves

• Investments in facilities and capital needs

• Elimination or moderation of required tax increases

5.J. At the recommendation of the Superintendent and with the approval of the Solicitor, the Board of School Directors hereby authorizes the Business Manager to re-introduce a public invitation to bid on the sale of the Stephen C. Foster School at 800 Russellwood Avenue, McKees Rocks, PA  15136, parcel ID 73-P-251, where the minimum acceptable bid shall be $200,000.00 for the property in AS IS condition.

5.K. At the recommendation of the Superintendent and Director of Buildings and Grounds, the Board of School Directors hereby authorizes purchase and installation of eight (8) replacement water coolers at the Sto-Rox Junior Senior High School by Tudi Mechanical Systems at a cost not to exceed $23,186.00 

6. Board Resolutions- Curriculum, Student Services, and Educational Leadership

6.A. At the recommendation of the Superintendent and Director of Student Services/Title IX Coordinator, the Board of School Directors hereby approves a contracted services agreement with The Watson Institute for the 2026-2027 school year, whereby Sto-Rox School District will be charged tuition in the amount of $69,148.00 per student, with the enrollment referral being submitted by the Director of Student Services/Title IX Coordinator on behalf of the District and in consultation with each student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Team.

6.B. At the recommendation of the Superintendent and Director of Student Services/Title IX Coordinator, the Board of School Directors hereby approves a Letter of Agreement with Allegheny Children’s Initiative whereby Allegheny Children’s Initiative will serve as the Student Assistance Program Provider for the Sto-Rox School District during the 2026-2027 school year and at no cost to the District.

6.C. At the recommendation of the Superintendent and Director of Student Services/Title IX Coordinator, the Board of School Directors authorizes a contracted services agreement with Dr. Rosa Tucker for the 2026-2027 school year whereby Dr. Tucker, as an Independent Contractor, will provide student-specific Bilingual PA Chapter 14 Psychoeducational Evaluation Services at a rate not to exceed $150.00 per hour.

6.D. At the recommendation of the Superintendent and Director of Student Services/Title IX Coordinator, the Board of School Directors hereby approves a Letter of Agreement with Crisis Center North, whereby and with the permission of individual legal guardians, Crisis Center North will provide school-based counseling services for the Sto-Rox School District during the 2026-2027 school year and at no cost to the District.

6.E. At the recommendation of the Superintendent and Director of Student Services/Title IX Coordinator, the Board of School Directors hereby authorizes a contracted services agreement with Allegheny Intermediate Unit to provide three (3) days of Speech/Language Support Services per week for the 2026-2027 school year, along with supplemental training and consultation, for an amount not to exceed $85,000.00 as deemed appropriate by the Director of Student Services/Title IX Coordinator and in consultation with each student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Team.

6.F. At the recommendation of the Superintendent and Director of Student Services/Title IX Coordinator, the Board of School Directors hereby approves a contracted services agreement with New Story Schools for the 2026-2027 school year, whereby Sto-Rox School District will be charged a per diem tuition rate of $425.00 per student, with the enrollment referral being submitted by the Director of Student Services/Title IX Coordinator on behalf of the District and in consultation with each student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Team.

6.G. At the recommendation of the Superintendent and Director of Student Services/Title IX Coordinator, the Board of School Directors hereby approves a contracted services agreement with Mars Home for Youth (MHY) Services’ Longmore Academy for the 2026-2027 school year, whereby Sto-Rox School District will be charged in accordance with the agreement’s itemized list of services and related charges, with the enrollment referral being submitted by the Director of Student Services/Title IX Coordinator on behalf of the District and in consultation with each student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Team.

6.H. At the recommendation of the Superintendent and Director of Student Services/Title IX Coordinator, the Board of School Directors hereby approves a contracted services agreement with Phase 4 Learning Center for the 2026-2027 school year, whereby Sto-Rox School District will be charged tuition in the amount of $6,250 per semester per student or $12,500 per student per year based on individual student enrollment dates, with the enrollment referral being submitted  by the Director of Student Services/Title IX Coordinator on behalf of the District and in consultation with Building-level Principals.

6.I. At the recommendation of the Superintendent and Director of Student Services/Title IX Coordinator, the Board of School Directors hereby approves renewal of the Universal Learning System (ULS) curriculum through vendor Everway for the 2026-2027 school year at a cost not to exceed $5,387.94.

6.J. At the recommendation of the Superintendent and Director of Student Services/Title IX Coordinator, the Board of School Directors hereby acknowledges and accepts the 2026-2027 Comprehensive Services Agreement forwarded by the Allegheny Intermediate Unit #3, to include specified costs for available services should the District want to employ any of these available services in the current school year.

6.K. At the recommendation of the Superintendent, the Board of School Directors hereby authorizes a contracted services agreement with Allegheny Intermediate Unit #3 to provide Title I nonpublic services for qualifying, resident students who attend the following schools during the 2026-2027 school year:  Northside Catholic; Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School; Rhema Christian School; Bishop Canevin; Sewickley Academy; Nazareth Prep; Archangel Gabriel Catholic School; Guardian Angel Academy; St. Benedict the Moor; Robinson Township Christian School; and Seton LaSalle Catholic High School.  It is further authorized that Allegheny Intermediate Unit #3, through this same arrangement, will provide on behalf of Sto-Rox School District required parent and family engagement  activities and services, with all nonpublic costs coming directly from the District’s required set-aside of Title I funds for the 2026-2027 school year.

6.L. (NEW) At the recommendation of the Superintendent, the Board of School Directors hereby approves a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to allow Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh, with the permission of individual legal guardians, access to students enrolled at the Sto-Rox School District Junior-Senior High School during the 2026-2027 school year for the purposes of site-based, small group mentoring.

6.M. At the recommendation of the Superintendent and Director of Student Services/Title IX Coordinator, the Board of School Directors hereby approves a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to allow representatives from the Pressley Ridge Family Counseling Center School-Based Outpatient Program team, with the permission of individual legal guardians, access to students enrolled in the Sto-Rox School District during the 2026-2027 school year for the purposes of improving timely access to mental health assessments and related services.    

6.N. At the recommendation of the Superintendent and Director of Student Services/Title IX Coordinator, the Board of School Directors hereby authorizes a formal agreement with Pressley Ridge Community and School Based Behavioral Health (CSBBH), whereby CSBBH team representatives, with the permission of individual legal guardians, will have access to students enrolled at the Sto-Rox Primary Center and Upper Elementary School during the 2026-2027 school year for the purposes of individual, family, and group therapy.

6.O. At the recommendation of the Superintendent, the Board of School Directors hereby approves a contracted services agreement with Pittsburgh Area Community Schools (PACS) to allow program staff, with the permission of individual legal guardians, access to students enrolled at the Sto-Rox School District during the 2026-2027 school year for the purposes of promoting student engagement and academic performance with program goals including but not limited to:

• Improving school attendance

• Decreasing behavioral incidents

• Increasing participation level in tutoring and mentoring initiatives and enrichment programming 

It is further acknowledged that annual programming costs are estimated to be $609,610.00 for the 2026-2027 school year, with the Sto-Rox School District portion not to exceed $25,000.00, with this amount being reallocated from unspent funds remaining from the Title IV Stronger Connections Grant that was awarded to the District in 2022.

6.P. (NEW) At the recommendation of the Superintendent, the Board of School Directors hereby approves a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to allow representatives from the Zellous Hope Project, with the permission of individual legal guardians, access to students enrolled in the Sto-Rox School District during the 2026-2027 school year for the purposes of providing access to educational, recreational, cultural, leadership, and community experiences.

6.Q. Based on the recommendation of the Superintendent, the Board of School Directors hereby authorizes renewal for the 2026-2027 school year of the District’s access to Parchment Transcript Management Services offered through Vendor Instructure at a cost not to exceed $1,013.00.

6.R. At the recommendation of the Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment, the Board of School Directors hereby authorizes acceptance of musical instruments and accessories being donated by the Morgan Wallen 2026 Tour Give Back Program and in conjunction with Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation, with said music program donation having an estimated value of $39,276.00 and to include 1 Baritone Saxophone, 2 Euphoniums, 10 Classical Guitars, 1 Tenor Saxophone, 3 Trombones, 2 Alto Saxophones, 4 Clarinets, and 4 Flutes.

6.S. At the recommendation of the Superintendent and Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment, the Board of School Directors hereby approves purchase of the following curriculum resources:

• 1-year subscription renewal of ALEKS K-10 math intervention through Vendor McGraw Hill at a cost not to exceed $36,673.75 

• 1-year subscription renewal of myPerspectives, which includes digital resources for grades 7-12 English Language Arts as available through Vendor SAVVAS at a cost not to exceed $14,146.00

• 3-year access through Vendor SAVVAS to digital courseware materials that are aligned with Miller & Levine Biology at a cost not to exceed $8,949.95. 

• 3-year access through Vendor McGraw Hill to Holes Essentials of Anatomy & Physiology, High School Anatomy & Physiology, and Principles of Environmental Science resources including but not limited to student bundles, teacher subscriptions, and manuals at a cost not to exceed $5,380.99. 

• 3-year access through Vendor McGraw Hill to Wonders 2023 K-5 and Wonders 2020 6th grade, English Language Arts/Reading, with resources including but not limited to student materials, teacher materials, Big Books, manipulatives, assessments, and additional support for English Learners at a cost not to exceed $175,148.86.  

• 1-year access to digital student and teacher resources through Vendor HMH from their Social Studies Middle School Collection at a cost not to exceed $980.00 

• 1-year access to Vendor Scholastic’s School News and Science Spin to support K-3 Social Studies and Science instruction at a cost not to exceed $2,311.96.

• 1-year access to Mystery Science kits and professional development available through Vendor Discovery Education for member districts at a total cost not to exceed $11,717.34.

• 1-year access to Sora’s Digital Library, an online book system for grades K-6 students at a cost not to exceed $1,072.95.

• 3-year access through Vendor Great Minds PBC to Eureka Squared digital bundles and modules for students and teachers to support K-8 math instruction at a cost not to exceed $99,054.14.

6.T. At the recommendation of the Superintendent and Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment, the Board of School Directors hereby approves renewal for the 2026-2027 school year of the District’s access to NWEA Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) universal screener/assessments for students in grades K-10 at a cost not to exceed $12,625.50.  

6.U. At the recommendation of the Superintendent and Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment, the Board of School Directors hereby adopts the K-12 English Language Arts-Reading Curriculum that has been arranged in grade-specific, individual units that specify anticipated duration of related instruction, targeted concepts/content/vocabulary, evidence of standards-alignment, and recommended assessments.

6.V. At the recommendation of the Superintendent and Principal Dr. Lisa Mumau, the Board of School Directors hereby authorizes acceptance of donated supplies and services from the Benjamin Benefit Foundation, including but not limited to facilitation of a school-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support (PBIS) assembly at Sto-Rox Primary Center and various classroom supplies.

6.W. At the recommendation of the Allegheny Intermediate Unit, the Board of School Directors authorizes active participation in the following professional networking and leadership development initiative:  Leadership Pittsburgh XLIII 26/27 Cohort Membership for Board President Cameron Culliver and Superintendent of Schools Sonya Coleman to include acceptance of a fellowship award in the amount of $7,000.00 from The Grable Foundation for each selected District leader to cover registration costs, with the remaining District obligation being $1,000.00 per participant, along with mileage not to exceed the District’s standard reimbursement rate.

6.X. At the request of the Superintendent, the Board of School Directors authorizes active participation in the following professional networking opportunities for the 2026-2027 school year to which the Superintendent of Schools has been invited to serve as a representative of the Sto-Rox School District and at no cost:.

• Participant in the Future-Driven Schools Initiative powered by Remake Learning and in partnership with AASA’s (The School Superintendents Association’s) Ed Leader Promise Initiative

• Participant in the Pennsylvania Association of Rural and Small Schools (PARSS) initiative aimed at addressing adequacy gaps through advocacy

6.Y. At the recommendation of the Superintendent, the Board of School Directors authorizes active employee participation in the following professional development opportunities as depicted below:

6.Z. Based on the recommendation of the Superintendent, the Board of School Directors hereby approves School Improvement Plans developed under the leadership of each Building Principal as reflected below, with each building-level plan targeting identified areas in need of further development based on a comprehensive needs assessment and stakeholder input.  The Board further authorizes a period of thirty (30) days for public inspection and submission of each building-level plan to the Pennsylvania Department of Education:

• Ms. Asia Davis on behalf of the Sto-Rox Junior-Senior High School
  
  NOTE:  Actual building-level plans are still under review by the Superintendent and will be attached as part of the August 20, 2026 voting agenda.

6.AA. At the recommendation of the Superintendent and Director of Student Services/Title IX Coordinator, the Board of School Directors hereby authorizes a contracted services agreement with Soliant Health LLC to provide Paraprofessional Aide staff support for the 2026-2027 school year as deemed appropriate by the Director of Student Services/Title IX Coordinator in consultation with student-specific Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Team members and in accordance with the Soliant Client Services Agreement and associated Rate Schedule.

6.AB. At the recommendation of the Superintendent and Director of Student Services/Title IX Coordinator, the Board of School Directors hereby approves a contracted services agreement with Holy Family Specialized Learning for the 2026-2027 school year, whereby Sto-Rox School District will be charged a per diem tuition rate of $275.00 per student, with the enrollment referral being submitted by the Director of Student Services/Title IX Coordinator on behalf of the District and in consultation with each student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Team. 

6.AC. At the recommendation of the Superintendent, the Board of School Directors hereby authorizes implementation of expectations and process as outlined in the 2026-2027 Sto-Rox School District Employee Handbook along with the three (3) individual 26-27 school-specific handbooks.

6.AD. At the recommendation of the Superintendent, the Board of School Directors hereby approves a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to allow Infinite Lifestyles Solutions, with the permission of individual legal guardians, access for students enrolled in the Sto-Rox School District during the 2026-2027 school year for the purposes of providing students access to restorative circles, mindfulness, therapeutic art, and yoga practice.

6.AE. At the recommendation of the Superintendent, the Board of School Directors hereby approves a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to allow Steel City Impact, with the permission of individual legal guardians, access to students enrolled at the Sto-Rox School District Junior-Senior High School during the 2026-2027 school year for the purposes of providing students access to mind, body, and spirit-based development and mentoring opportunities.

7. Board Resolutions- Safety and Technology

7.A. Based upon the recommendation of the Superintendent and Director of Security and Emergency Preparedness, and in accordance with Act 44 of 2018, the Board of School Directors hereby acknowledges review of the Sto-Rox School District Annual Summary of Safety and Security Practices Report during the August 13, 2026 executive session and retroactively authorizes submission of the report through the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s PIMS portal by the July 31, 2026 deadline.

7.B. Based upon the recommendation of the Superintendent and Director of Security and Emergency Preparedness, the Board of School Directors hereby acknowledges the development of a 2026-2027 Emergency Operations Plan in collaboration with members of local law enforcement.  The Board of School Directors further authorizes submission of this annually required document to Allegheny County Emergency Management Services in addition to facilitation of localized training to support implementation of the District’s updated Emergency Operations Plan.

8. Board Resolutions- Personnel Management Person-specific discussion is  restricted to Executive Session only. 

8.A. At the recommendation of the Solicitor, the following resolutions from the June 24, 2026, voting agenda are being presented to the Board for a second time due to a clerical error in reporting the voting outcome from the June 24, 2026, vote. 

8.A.1. Approve Resolution:  “market adjustment” in salary and based on a Distinguished Performance Assessment and in accordance with Act 93 provisions, the Board hereby approves, at the recommendation of the Superintendent and, thus, Employee #1988 will be assigned a base salary of $110,000 as of July 1, 2026.

8.A.2. Approve Resolution:  Based on a Distinguished Performance Assessment and in accordance with Act 93 provisions, the Board hereby approves, at the recommendation of the Superintendent and, thus, award a bonus of a 5% increase to be embedded in Employee #257’s base salary as of July 1, 2026.

8.B. At the recommendation of the Superintendent, the Board of School Directors hereby approves/ratifies the following personnel matters.

8.B.1. At the request of the individual, the Board of School Directors hereby rescinds the resignation of Jennifer Gombita as approved by a majority consensus on June 24, 2026, and as such, Jennifer Gombita is reinstated to the position of Cafeteria Worker at Sto-Rox Primary Center, as of August 6, 2026.

8.B.2. Approval of the FMLA request submitted by Employee #1653 for the time period of August 24, 2026 through November 2, 2026.

8.B.3. Approval of the FMLA request submitted by Employee #494 for the time period of October 1, 2026 through January 4, 2027

8.B.4. Acknowledgment that Sto-Rox School District Teacher Magdalena Vincent has met all requirements as stipulated by the Pennsylvania Public School Code of 1949 as amended and is, thus, awarded Tenure.

10.B. At the recommendation of the Superintendent and Director of Athletics, the Board of School Directors hereby approves/ratifies District participation as determined appropriate by the Director of Athletics in T-Mobile’s Friday Night 5G Lights Playbook Fundraiser.

10.C. Based on the recommendation of the Superintendent and Director of Athletics, the Board of School Directors hereby authorizes renewal for the 2026-2027 school year of the District’s access to Hudl, Inc’s High School Athletic Department Package, Sideline Standard Software, and Streaming 60 at a cost not to exceed $7,000.00.

11. Board Resolutions- Other

11.A. New Transportation Employees of District Contractor:  At the recommendation of the Assistant Business Manager, the Board of School Directors approves addition of the following ABC Transit, Inc. employees to provide transportation services and/or related support on behalf of Sto-Rox School District.

11.B. 2026-2027 School Bus Stops:  At the recommendation of the Assistant Business Manager, the Board of School Directors hereby approves the designated list of bus stops as presented.

11.C. Submission of Facility Use Request:  At the recommendation of the Director of Buildings and Grounds and in accordance with SRSD Policy #707 and the District’s current fee schedule, the Board of School Directors hereby authorizes District administration to share District facilities as requested by Chasing M’s Foundation on August 14, 2026.  

11.D. Submission of Facility Use Request:  At the recommendation of the Director of Buildings and Grounds and in accordance with SRSD Policy #707 and the District’s current fee schedule, the Board of School Directors hereby authorizes District administration to share District facilities as requested by Nam’s Martial Arts Center on October 17, 2026.

11.E. Submission of Facility Use Request:  At the recommendation of the Director of Buildings and Grounds and in accordance with SRSD Policy #707 and the District’s current fee schedule, the Board of School Directors hereby authorizes District administration to share District facilities as requested by Pittsburgh Basketball Club on the following dates in 2026:  September 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, 30 and October 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, 28, 29, and 30.

11.F. Submission of Facility Use Request:  At the recommendation of the Director of Buildings and Grounds and in accordance with SRSD Policy #707, the Board of School Directors hereby authorizes District administration to share District facilities as requested by Sto-Rox Little Vikings from 8:00 am-7:30 pm on 8/29/26, 9/19/26, and 10/3/26, and during times to be determined by the Director of Athletics on 8/22/26.

11.G. Submission of Facility Use Request:  At the recommendation of the Director of Buildings and Grounds and in accordance with SRSD Policy #707, the Board of School Directors hereby retroactively authorizes District administration to share District facilities as requested by Pittsburgh Area Community Schools (PACS) to support collaborative community activities hosted at the Sto-Rox Junior-Senior High School from 4:00-7:30 pm on August 6, 2026.

11.H. Appointment of School District Physician:  At the recommendation of the Superintendent, the Board of School Directors hereby approves a renewal of  contracted services with University of Pittsburgh Physicians, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Adolescent Medicine (Medical Group) who will serve in the capacity of School District Physician for school year 2026-2027 and in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in the related agreement at cost not to exceed $10,000.

11.I.  (NEW) Appointment of School District Dentist:  At the recommendation of the Superintendent, the Board of School Directors hereby approves a contracted services agreement with Pediatric Dentistry Asleep P.C. who will serve in the capacity of School District Dentist for school year 2026-2027 and in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in the related agreement at no cost to the District.

11.J. Acceptance of Donations:  At the recommendation of the Superintendent, the Board of School Directors hereby approves receipt of the following general donations: 

• 255 Home-to-School Folders offered to Dr. Lisa Mumau at Sto-Rox Primary Center
• Rebate check from On-Time Sports in the amount of $165.00 that resulted from a T-shirt advertisement campaign that will benefit the Sto-Rox School District athletic programs.
• 20 customized backpacks and 10 batting helmets from BSN Sports to support the Girls Softball program, with said donated items having an estimated value of approximately $2,000.00
• 2 school-themed inflatables, (1) for the Sto-Rox Primary Center and (1) for the Upper Elementary School from School Director and Community Resident Amanda Donia to welcome Sto-Rox School District elementary students for the new school year.
• Services and Literacy Products associated with United Way's Volunteer Reading and Raising Readers Program to benefit the Sto-Rox Primary Center.
• 33 Collared shirts from Under Armor to be distributed among students as deemed appropriate by Administration
• Various school supplies posters and video library resources from the Pittsburgh Steelers to be distributed as deemed appropriate by Administration.
