Description:
New Elementary Report - The final projects have been completed for the elementary school project. Sod was put in two weeks ago, wrapping up the landscaping, bleachers were installed on Friday, May 9th, and the upper parking lot was restriped on the 9th as well. Vern has shelves in the storage building and has started moving items in for storage. The final step of the process is making final payouts to Neenan and Artaic, and submitting the final request to CDE for reimbursement by June 30th.

Description:
Board Report Secondary Improvement/AG Shop Rebuild BEST Grant - Interview for the BEST grant is scheduled for Wednesday, May 14th so I will have an update on how the interview went at the board meeting. I sent out a RFQ/P for a Design Build Team for the project. I received one proposal from the Neenan Company, three firms said they did not have time for additional projects at this time, and I did not hear anything from two firms. Graduation - Sign Diplomas, Ceremony is Thursday, May 22nd at 7:00PM, Mr. Baughman will be attending his granddaughter's graduation ceremony in Cortez at the same time as our graduation so I will present the diplomas to the class for him. Planning for 2025-26 School Year

Consent Agenda: 9.1 Financials (FIN1&2) - I recommend the approval of the financials as presented as aligned with District Strategic Plan Financial Goal 1 (Financial Communication) and Financial Goal 1 (Budget Transparency). Action Item(s): 10.1 I recommend the approval of the 2025-26 Salary Schedules as presented. All pay rates have an increase to the base number over last year. Superintendent Ty Gray 10.2 I recommend the approval of Financial Control Resolution and Authorized Signature Resolutions as presented. With changes to who can sign checks for athletics, and making sure Roxie is on all accounts she needs. Superintendent Ty Gray 10.4 I recommend the approval of Policy First Reading as presented. Two teachers are listed on the classified staff list as they do not have a Colorado Teaching License. 10.6.1.3 Personnel Employment - I recommend the approval of the coaching staff list as presented. 10.6.1.4 Personnel Employment - I recommend the approval of the Summer Student Workers as presented. 10.6.2 Resignations - I recommend the approval of the resignations as presented. Veronica is moving for personal reasons; Newton Birge is retiring, and Prentael is taking one of her coaching duties off her plate.
