These addenda cover the Spring 2026 Dual Credit classes that MGCCC partners with our high schools to provide for our students.  Students can take dual credit classes while still in high school that will be recognized by college campuses when they move to the next level after graduation.

Description:  This renewal will provide access of the MS shared digital collection of books for our middle and high school students.  Teachers use this subscription to assist them with intervention, remediation and enrichment.  This educational tool provides support for teachers and students to drive instruction and promote achievement.

Description:  This product has been used by our schools for several years to address reading intervention needs.  It is an adaptive, blended learning program that accelerates the development of literacy skills for students of all abilities, helping them make that critical shift from learning to read to reading to learn.

Description:  This curriculum is a comprehensive K-2 literacy curriculum designed to develop strong readers and writers through research-based instruction with an emphasis on student engagement and differentiated learning to support all learners.  It is a MS state adopted HQIM for ELA.  2026-2027 will be the third year we have used this curriculum.

Description:  This purchase is for 20 licenses for each high school for math and reading to be used with students at risk.  It also includes free educator site licenses for professional development at each high school campus at no cost.  Our high school intervention students have used iReady for the past several years. 

Description:  This is a renewal of math and purchase of ELA licenses.   We will use Math with grades K-8 and ELA with grades 6-12.  IXL provides targeted, data-driven support for our Tier intervention students, offering a comprehensive curriculum that bridges learning gaps in Math and ELA.  By renewing and expanding these licenses, we ensure educators have the necessary tools to provide personalized instruction and measurable growth for 400 students in each core subject area for the 2026-2027 school year.

Description:  Edgenuity is an online learning platform, formerly known as Education2020, that provides digital coursework for grades 6-12, offering core, elective, AP, test prep, and career-related courses, used for both initial credit and credit recovery. 

Description:  HMH Writable Elementary is a research-backed, guided writing platform that scaffolds literacy for students in grades 3-6, by connecting daily instruction with a cycle of feedback and revision.  Educators should purchase this solution to save significant time on grading through AI-powered feedback and to gain access to over 1,000 customizable, standards-aligned assignments that seamlessly integrate with the MDE state-approved HMH Into Reading core curricula that we are currently using.

Description:  HMH Into Literature for grades 6-8 is a comprehensive English Language Arts curriculum designed to improve student literacy through a combination of high-interest texts and rigorous, standards-aligned instruction. The platform utilizes data-driven insights and integrated writing scaffolds to support differentiated learning, helping students develop the critical thinking and analytical skills necessary for academic success.  This is an MDE state-adopted HQIM.

Description:  This is a workbook designed for student application of foundational, vocabulary, and reading skills. It offers structured, research-based practice for independent work or small groups.  These provide practice for comprehension, vocabulary, and grammar skills, allowing students to "show" their understanding.  This is one component of the HMH Into Reading MDE state-adopted HQIM ELA curriculum we are currently using.

Description:  DreamBox Reading Plus by Discovery Education is an online, adaptive literacy program for grades 3-12 designed to enhance silent reading fluency, stamina, and comprehension. It personalizes instruction using the InSight Assessment, helping students improve reading proficiency by up to 2.5 grade levels in one year while boosting motivation. 

Description:  These review guides provide a consolidated, comprehensive resource tailored to all Mississippi College- and Career-Readiness Standards (MCCRS) for Biology I, ensuring alignment with the MAAP-EOC exam requirements. Purchasing these materials will save teachers time, supporting both in-class instruction and personalized student review to boost end-of-course exam performance. 

Description:  MasteryConnect is a K-12 digital assessment and data management system that helps teachers measure student understanding of core standards.  It enables educators to track student mastery of state standards in real-time, facilitating personalized instruction and targeted interventions. By using formative assessment data to identify learning gaps, it empowers teachers to improve student outcomes through data-driven instruction and collaborative, standards-based reporting.

Description:  These programs provide online and remote access to be used with any curriculum.  The Math and ELA platforms support instruction with standards-aligned texts while providing books and audio to promote lifelong reading tools to engage students as they work toward personal goals.  MyOn meets MDE requirements for digital book access, AR targets optimal text difficulty for students while encouraging growth in skills, STAR meets MDE requirements as a screener as well as aids in determination decision-making for interventions.  Freckle is an online adaptive learning platform (K-12, primary focus K-5) that provides personalized, differentiated instruction in math, ELA, Science and social studies.  Freckle Math adapts to student ability, offering remediation or advanced content based on performance, helping educators differential learning.

Description:  JCSD students have used these books for the past several years.  Purchasing MS MAAP Biology I Student Review Guides is justified as they provide a comprehensive, standards-aligned resource designed to prepare students for the mandatory end-of-course (EOC) exam, which heavily influences graduation credit. These guides offer focused, structured review of all 2018 Mississippi College- and Career-Readiness Standards (MCCRS) for Science, aimed at increasing student proficiency and passing rates. 

Description:  We have 3 schools preparing to apply for the ASCA RAMP identification for the 26-27sy. We have utilized this coaching service with all 6 of our current Nationa ASCA RAMP designations.
