Ms. Jaimes will be paid $25.54 per hour per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request approval to hire Ms. Gianna Spadoni as an Instructional Assistant pending successful completion of pre-employment requirements for the 2019-20 school year. This position is available due to the previous assistant, Mr. Anthony Manjarrez requesting an unpaid leave to complete his student teaching. Ms. Spadoni will be paid $25.54 per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request approval to hire Ms. Carlette White as an Instructional Assistant pending successful completion of pre-employment requirements for the 2019-20 school year. This position is available due to the increasing number of high needs students entering the district. Ms. White will be paid $25.54 per hour per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request approval to hire Miss Ashley Grady as an FMLA English Teacher and Substitute Teacher for the 2019-20 school year pending successful completion of pre-employment requirements. Miss Grady will be replacing Tom Mamminga during his FMLA leave from approximately September 30, 2019 through the end of first semester. Miss Grady will be paid $22.00 per hour as an FMLA leave/Substitute Teacher per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request approval to hire the following staff for the Academic Resource Center for the 2019-20 school year. Teachers will work no more than five (5) hours per week during their lunch period at the excess pay rate of $37.88 per hour per the Collectively Bargained Agreement. This resource program is funded through Title I.

Request approval to hire Mr. Jacques Moses as a Substitute Teacher for the 2019-20 school year pending successful completion of pre-employment requirements. Mr. Moses will be paid $22.00 per hour per the Collectively Bargained Agreement.

Request approval to hire Mr. Al Hasan for the position of Assistant Boys Soccer Coach for the 2019-20 school year. This hire is available due to the promotion of the previous coach, Mr. Carlos Marquez to Head Boys Soccer Coach. Mr. Hasan is currently a teacher here at Argo so all pre-employment requirements have been successfully completed. Mr. Hasan will be paid $8,210 (13.60% of BA Step 1 ($60,367), Year 2) for the fall season.

Request approval to hire Ms. Samantha Matuszak for the position of Assistant Girls Swim/Dive Coach for the 2019-20 school year. Ms. Matuszak is currently a substitute teacher at Argo and all pre-employment requirements have been successfully completed. This hire is due to the resignation of the previous coach, Ms. Misty Gardner. Ms. Matuszak will be paid $8,693 (14.40% of BA Step 1 ($60,367, Year 1) for the fall season.

Request approval to hire Mr. Jesus Sanchez as a Pro-Tech for the Latinx Mural pending successful completion of the Raptor background system. Mr. Sanchez will not exceed more than 20 hours at $40.00 per hour which will be paid by the activities community relations account.

Request approval to accept the contract for 1:1 Instructional Aides through Midwest Educational Support Services for the 2019-20 school year.

Request approval to accept the speech language services contract with Midwest Educational Support Services for the 2019-20 school year. The proposed contract includes a 2.1% increase in costs from the 2018-19 school year.

Request approval for the Chicago Fire Soccer Club to use Memorial Stadium/Grass Soccer Field on the following dates and times: August 21, 22, 28, 2019; September 5,19,26, 2019; October 10, 23, 24, November 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, 2019 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Fees for security and/or maintenance may apply. A current certificate of insurance is on file.

Request approval for the Junior Argonauts Basketball to use the Swanson Gym/Field House on the following dates and times: September 9, 2019 to July 31, 2020 on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00pm to 9:00pm and from June 1, 2020 to July 31, 2020 on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Fees for security and/or maintenance may apply. A current certificate of insurance is on file.
