7.B. Elementary Math Curriculum Resource Pilot
|
|
7.B.a. • We will be engaging in a math program pilot with our elementary schools. We have had the same math program (Math Expressions) since 2015. This work was postponed during COVID (2020) and again during the 2022 school year due to the adoption of our new elementary reading program (Savvas myView).
• Through previous stakeholder meetings and surveys over the last 2 years, we have identified 3 new programs that our elementary teachers would like to explore: Illustrative Mathematics, Ready Classroom (i-Ready) and Progress in Mathematics (Sadlier). • We have several teachers (across all 4 elementary schools) who have volunteered to pilot these materials, starting in January 2025. • The intended outcome is to identify a new elementary math curriculum resource starting the 2025-2026 school year. |
