Description: RECOMMENDATION
The Office of Teaching & Learning recommends that the Board of Education approve the adoption of Sadlier Progress in Mathematics as the elementary mathematics core curriculum resource for grades K-5, effective for the 2025-2026 school year, with the associated budget allocation for materials, professional development, and implementation support. This program completely replaces our current Heinemann Math Expressions curriculum resource, which has been in place since January 2015. Please note that the requested amount is for the initial implementation. As such, costs will decrease over time.
This recommendation is based on:

Comprehensive research base supporting the program's effectiveness
Alignment with district strategic priorities and national/state standards
Positive feedback from the pilot implementation, from both staff and students.
Comprehensive implementation and support plan
