8.B. New Evaluation Training needed for 24-25
Description:
Good morning,
You are probably aware that the new law on evaluation requires the Board and Superintendent to be trained on the updated evaluation process and rater reliability. This is to be completed before September 1, 2024. As your MASB Consultant, I can provide this training for you and it is reimbursable under the MDE. Here are some dates available right now. Let me know what will work and we can get it scheduled. If you are currently doing your evaluation process this spring, you probably should wait until summer to do this new training. If you are doing your evaluation process in the fall, you can schedule the training any date that will work. April 29 May 1, 2, 15 June 25, 27 July 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30, 31 Aug 1, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14, 15 The training will be about 2 hours or so and meets the requirements of the law.
