Discussion:
Rod Hanson with Olsson addressed the council on the Water Filtration Plant. Hanson stated there were three possible avenues for the City to receive funding on the project, including Community Development Block Grant, USDA Rural Loans, and
Mayor Eaton requested Hanson to return in July with a proposal for services to conduct the study. |

Discussion on Levee damage and repairs
Discussion:
The council then discussed the damage on the Levee from the recent heavy rains and spring flooding. The council advised Administrator Litchfield to look into acquiring sand bags from either the Corps of Engineers or a local Emergency Management Agency while the City is waiting for an action plan from the Corps of Engineers.

Jerel Schroeder also addressed the council on the potential to change the cul de sac on South Main to a through street to allow the City for more options in the future for development. There was also discussion on extending 6th Street east of Highway 35. The final topic of discussion was extending sewer service to First Avenue, which already has water and electricity.
