President F. Kramer called the regular meeting of the Stapleton Public Schools Board of Education to order at 7:00 p.m. on April 14, 2025, in the library at Stapleton Public Schools.

Community Liaison
Discussion:
Bryan Regier gave his Community Liaisons' report which included: Chamber Easter Egg Hunt organized by junior chamber member, Kyle Kramer, is Saturday, April 19th, community clean-up day is April 28th, Walk @ Lunch Day is April 30th. Blue Cross and Blue Shield will donate $20 to the Special Olympics of Nebraska for our participation.

Discussion:
PK-6 Principal Isom reported on the following: IEPs/MDTs/BIP/ELPA21 update, testing update, elementary special earned recess, State FFA had great placings, prom, track and golf going strong, music contests, final push for academics and things yet to come. |

Building & Grounds
Discussion:
The Building and Grounds update included: expanded lighting replacement, football bleacher replacement, crow's nest expansion, practice track, south side drainage recommendation from JEO, re-carpeting 1935 and 1918 buildings, repair wall and and flooring in superintendent's house, possible shelter for small vehicles and north and west outdoor lighting.

Sport's Cooperative Committee Report
Discussion:
Sport's Cooperative Committee Report given by Superintendent Redinger included: spring sports update, winter sports conclusion and highlights, coaching evaluations, summer team camp and leagues, discussion on junior high football possibly being 6-man and high school finishing 8-man cycle and then moving to 6-man. MNAC golf will be May 1st in Stapleton. Building and Grounds Committee and American Civics Committee will both meet on April 28th. |
