6. SUPERINTENDENT'S REPORT: JEFF THOMPSON
Discussion:
Mr. Thompson presented the Superintendent's report. Jeremy Baggett,
Dakota Lamberth, both board members, and Mr. Thompson attended the OSSBA Conference last week. They all three had good things to say about it. Mr. Thompson stated that the Board Member Points have not been updated, so he will give out Point Reports next month when system has been updated. The District 2 Meeting will be held November 6th, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at Waynoka Public School. If you go at 5:30 p.m. you will receive three credits for attending. Mr. Thompson said to let him know if anyone is interested in going and he will get them registered. There is still no update on the start date of the walking trail. Still waiting on the information. The activity bus is in the city getting repaired. There has been a variety of issues with it mechanically so having it checked over. |

7. PRINCIPAL'S REPORT- JEFF THOMPSON AND BRAD SHRYOCK
Discussion:
Mr. Thompson presented the Principal's report. Enrollment is 126.
The Fire Pit Fundraiser is going on at this time. Drawing will be at halftime of the football game on October 31st. September 15th Elementary Football at Balko 5:30 p.m., September 19th Sharon- Mutual Carnival and Ag Booster Bingo, September 22nd Elementary Football at Shattuck 5:30 p.m., September 29th Elementary Football Geary 5:30 p.m. Music Night is October 1st, and October 2nd and 3rd Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., (on the 2nd) and 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (on the 3rd). October 6th Elementary Football Beaver 5:30 p.m., October 13th Elementary Football OBA 5:30 p.m. Teacher Amazon Pages are still open and will be available all year. Elementary FCCLA is still going on through the week. August Students of the Month- PreK-Alayna Marin Kind-Dylan Parks 1st-David Vasquez 2nd- Everst White 3rd-Murphy Nelson 4th-Bella Noland 5th-Kashlyn Bellows 6th-Eli Vasquez Mr. Shryock presented the High School report. Enrollment is 84. The County Fair was held last Friday and Saturday and some students were involved. The first Jr. High Volleyball Tournament was held last weekend at Mutual. It consisted of 4 teams and went really well. Mr. Shryock stated that the 4 teams have committed to come back next year, and other teams are wanting to come. All volleyball games for this week have been cancelled, the Elementary and Jr. High played football at Buffalo Tuesday night,Livestock Judging was on Tuesday, but no results from Mr. Coon as of yet. High School football opened the season last week with a win at Grandfield. They will travel to Mt. View on Friday. Monday the 15th Elementary/Jr. High football at Balko, Tuesday the 16th Volleyball at Hennessey, Wednesday the 17th Pre ACT for Sophmores, Thursday the 18th FCCLA Fall Leadership Conference at Enid. Homecoming September 26th with parade in the afternoon and Queen Coronation at 6:00 p.m. October 4th Sharon-Mutual High School Volleyball will host its first tournament. 6 teams have committed to come. |

10. BOARD TO DISCUSS STUDENT COLLEGE
REMEDIATION REPORT WITH NO ACTION TO BE TAKEN.
Discussion:
Mrs. Shryock presented report to the board, and in 2022-2023 and 2023-2024
the school has had 0% remediation. |

11. BOARD TO DISCUSS ANNUAL DROPOUT
REPORT WITH NO ACTION TO BE TAKEN.
Discussion:
Mrs. Shryock presented the report to the board, and for the 2024-2025
school year there were no dropouts. |

12. BOARD TO CONSIDER AND TAKE ACTION ON
STOCK BOX AG PROGRAM.
Discussion:
Jeremy Bagget, Board Member, explained what the new boxes are like.
He said the one the school has now is years old, and a new one is needed. Mr. Coon has priced one at $4,220.00, and the board agreed for school to purchase it with the stipulation that a stand would be built to keep it up off of the ground, and that it would be kept in a covered area.

A state mandated new policy was presented by Mrs. Shryock. It is to
ensure that all school district employees understand their legal and ethical obligations to report suspected child abuse or neglect.
