Discussion:
The Robotics team is currently ranked 3 in the west league and will be hosting a league meet on Dec 18 Letterman’s Club did a shoe drive for new shoes to be given to foster kids. We had over 40 pairs of shoes collected. These shoes were given to a former student from OBA who makes sure that a foster child receives a new pair of shoes when they are taken in by a family. The girls’ basketball team finished 3rd in their recent tournament. Speech and drama just wrapped up their Christmas play to day with two performance for the elementary students and a dinner theater for parents and the community yesterday. Saturday, Mr. Harris 11 students auditioned for All Area Honor Band. There were about 300 students who auditioned and 9 of our 11 earned their spot in the band! Three of our students earned 1st chair in their sections and one of them earned 2nd chair under one of our own! HS Band
Beginning band students who were nominated and accepted into the Beginning Honor Band group!
Band Concert will be held Thursday night at 7:00 pm. HS Quiz Bowl placed 2nd at regional qualifying them for state competition.Homecoming week went well! Lots of school spirit with the week culminating with our parade and pep rally and with Brayden Stover and Ryen Wittrock being crowned king and queen. Jr. Class Auction last Sunday...raised about $12,000 which should be enough for prom! |

Discussion:
Our gator that we ordered was delivered today. Replaced the heater in the PE gym. This coming summer we will fix the insulation. Pretty busy weeks. Hosted a lot of things and kids participated in a lot which is good after last year. Robotics event this Saturday. We might host State tournament for it.

Treasurer was on vacation last week. Finances are looking good. Rob asked if the city has gotten back to us. They are meeting tonight so Sumrall will call.

Discussion:
Rick Scott rep attended. We were presented the 95% architect plans. 1.2 million in construction cost. We should be able to get it down to under a million, Fields will be around 3.5-3.7 million. We are looking to get that budget down to around 2.5 million.

Ryan M asked if OEF would possibly be interested in the scholarship program. Maybe offset it to another organization.
