Discussion:
Tess Baker, Director of Finance, conducted the Public Hearing on RISD's rating for the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST). The District Score was 90% with an A (Superior Achievement) rating. Ms. Baker briefly reviewed various indicators which are included in the data to determine the district's status.

V. SSA Christmas Luncheon Presentation

Redwater Intermediate students, Aria Satterfield and Rhett Haugh, invited the board to attend their class's upcoming Christmas luncheon on December 17th from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm in the Redwater Intermediate School gym.

The following student and staff members were recognized for their achievements:
Alexis Sorsby, Drum Major — In recognition of her outstanding leadership and achievement during an exceptional band season. The Redwater Dragon Band earned a Bronze Medal at the UIL 3A State Marching Contest in San Antonio, Texas, reflecting Alexis’s dedication, talent, and commitment throughout a successful marching band and percussion contest year. Assistant Band Directors: Brandon Martindale, Candis Caddenhead, and Matthew Pettit — For inspiring excellence in the Redwater Dragon Band. Through their dedication, leadership, and mentorship, the band achieved a Bronze Medal at the UIL 3A State Marching Contest, reflecting both the talent of our students and these directors' commitment to fostering creativity, discipline, and pride in our music program. The following staff members were acknowledged for their achievements but unable to attend: *Dillon Davis, Director of Bands, Logan Moncrief, Guard Coordinator —For inspiring excellence in the Redwater Dragon Band. This pathway would introduce Computer Science I and II courses to Redwater High School as part of the TEA Information Technology (IT) career cluster.
