Principles of Construction – Christmas Tree Sale:Students in the Principles of Construction class build wooden Christmas trees and sell them to raise funds for their class Activity Account. |

DCE-Local Noncertified contracts may be used for positions that require advanced training, specialized responsibilities, or duties that the Superintendent determines are best supported through a contract rather than at-will employment. Employees issued a noncertified contract shall be employed under the terms and conditions of the District's approved noncertified contract form. Employees not designated by the Board to receive a noncertified contract shall be employed on an at-will basis in accordance with DCE(LOCAL). |

"A stipend is a flat amount of compensation paid for the full scope of duties assigned through a supplemental duty agreement or dual contract in addition to the employee’s primary contract (or regular 187 day teaching contract). Stipends compensate for all responsibilities associated with that assignment, including preparation, supervision, practices, competitions, meetings, communication, travel obligations, and any additional duties defined by the district. Stipends are not tied to hours or additional days and represent full compensation for the entire assignment." |
