Carson Bailey, a student at Marshall County High School, attended the National Beta Convention in Savannah, GA, on June 16-21. After several days of activities, Carson emerged as the national runner-up in 11th grade language arts. High school students from 39 states participated in the senior national convention by virtue of having placed in competition on the state level.
Discussion:
Mr. Sorrells recognized student Carson Bailey for being runner-up in the National Beta Convention's 11th grade language arts competition.

Mr. Sorrells thanked LMS principal Randy Hubbell, who will be moving on to another position in Maury County, for his 15 years of service to Marshall County.
