Motion to approve the Consent Agenda. Passed with a motion by Nick Wells and a second by Samantha Minnick.

Motion to approve payment of the bill(s) from InSPIRe - Holdrege, LLC. Passed with a motion by Teresa Kroll and a second by Chris McQuillan.

Motion to approve a resolution to increase the school district's property tax request authority by an additional six percent, as permitted by law, above the base growth percentage. Passed with a motion by Nick Wells and a second by Teresa Kroll.

Motion to set food service prices for the 2025-26 school year as follows: K-4 Lunch $3.45 and Breakfast $2.15; 5-12 Lunch $3.65 and Breakfast $2.15; Adult Lunch $5.00 and Breakfast $3.00; Milk $.60; Adult Fruit and Vegetable Bar $3.10; Extra Lunch Entree $2.80; Extra Breakfast Entree $2.10; and Extra Pizza Hut Pizza $3.00. Passed with a motion by Chris McQuillan and a second by Brian Rust.

Motion to approve an Interlocal Agreement with Central Community College for Instructional Programs covering the period of July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2028, and a 2025-26 Memorandum of Understanding for courses offered by HPS, as presented. Passed with a motion by Samantha Minnick and a second by Chris McQuillan.

Motion to approve the 2024-25 Student Fees Report. Passed with a motion by Brian Rust and a second by Samantha Minnick.

Motion to waive readings and immediately adopt the revised Policy 5305 Student Fees for the 2025-26 school year, inclusive of Appendix "1". Passed with a motion by Teresa Kroll and a second by Samantha Minnick.

The Attendance Policy was reviewed by the Board. Motion that the Board's current Policy 5008 Attendance be reaffirmed without alteration. Passed with a motion by Brian Rust and a second by Chris McQuillan.

The Bullying Policy was reviewed by the Board. Motion that the Board's current Anti-Bullying Policy 5415 be reaffirmed without alteration. Passed with a motion by Nick Wells and a second by Teresa Kroll.

Following the hearing, first reading was held for the proposed revision for Policy 6400 Parental Involvement. Motion to waive further reading and adopt revised Policy 6400 Parental Involvement, as presented. Passed with a motion by Samantha Minnick and a second by Brian Rust.

Motion to approve the following 2025-26 Handbooks: PK-12 Student-Parent; Teacher-Certificated Staff; Classified Staff; Coaches & Sponsors Supplement; and Substitute Passed with a motion by Nick Wells and a second by Teresa Kroll.

Motion to approve a proposed addendum to Casey Klein's 2024-25 teacher contract to be employed on an as needed hourly basis in addition to the term of the regular contract for the purpose of performing duties related to serve as the district's Director of Special Education & Early Childhood Education, as presented.
