Recognition of outgoing board member- Andy Burr
Discussion:
Barry Janssen presented Mr. Buhr with an apple of appreciation. The board appreciated his years of service.

Superintendent
Discussion:
Mr. Kraus updated the board on upcoming conferences they could attend. The safety committee will be working with Syracuse Area Health on an exercise drill. The mission statement posters and shirts are coming. The administration is working on the strategic plan by auditing non-core class offerings. Mr. Kraus has created a superintendent network group with neighboring schools, The parent and teacher advisory groups will be meeting in January. The board will have a facility meeting with BVH on Jan. 29th.

Middle School Presentation- JH STOP
Discussion:
Mrs. Bakan and the STOP student advisory group presented information to the board. They shared there are 36 members involved. STOP leads Red ribbon week, runs concession stands and funds their activities such as the Region V June Jam.

|
Facility Study Work Session
Discussion:
The board facility work session took place on Dec. 3rd. The committee is continually exploring future options for the elementary, middle and high school buildings. The next meeting is scheduled for Jan. 29th.

Negotiations
Discussion:
The board has completed negotiations with the SDAEA and will approve a new contract in January.

AQuESST Results
Discussion:
Mrs. Zastera shared the district results of the AQuESTT. We are all very pleased with our results and being classified as an Excellent. We appreciate how hard our teachers work.
