Call the meeting to order - 7:15 p.m.
Discussion:
President T. Tegeler called the American Civics meeting to order at 7:15 p.m. Members present were: Broberg, Negus, Schutt, T. Tegeler. Absent: Johnsen and R. Tegeler.

Recognize Visitors - ‘Public Comment’ - refer to "Open Meetings Law’
Discussion:
President T. Tegeler referred to the open meetings law and welcomed visitors. There was no public comment.

Report on American Civics test given to 7th grade and 12 grade students.
Discussion:
Mr. Wes Prater reported that all junior high students passed the American citizenship test but with a bit more struggle compared to previous years. There is quite a bit of American history on the test so he needs to put more focus on that during class time. Mr. Dustin Wickizer reported that all the seniors passed the high school version of the test with an average score of 90%. He has helped eligible juniors and seniors register to vote and also register for the selective service.

Report patriotic activities at the school.
Discussion:
Mr. Black reported that the Legion Auxiliary visited students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. Students were told about the story behind the poppy and its significance to the military. Each student received a poppy from the auxiliary.
