4. COMMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC
Description:
The School Board and Administration welcome comments from in-person attendees. All individuals wishing to participate in a public open Board meeting shall register their intent with the Board Secretary in advance of comment via the Public Comment Sign Up google form located on the School Board tab of the district website or via the QR code below. Participants must preface their comments by announcing their name, municipality, and group affiliation, if applicable. Comments are to adhere to the following:

6. CELLPHONE PARAMETERS
Description:
Essential Question: Should cell phones be restricted for students at DAHS for the entirety of the instructional day? Current Practice: Grades K - 8: No cell phones permitted. Grades 9-12: Permitted outside of instructional time and at teacher's discretion during instructional time. Tech and AI Section - Student Handbook |

7. STUDENT DEVICE PARAMETERS
Description:
Essential Question: Should students in Grades K-6 have limitations on their district-issued device from 11:00 pm through 6:00 am? Current Practice: Grades K-3: Student devices remain at school unless a virtual learning day is called. Grades 4-6: All student devices go home with students. |

8. K-3 TOILETING
Description:
Essential Question Should DASD require independent toileting as a prerequisite for enrollment for in-person general education classrooms? Current Practice Toileting abilities are self-reported by parents/guardians during kindergarten readiness sessions as part of DASD's readiness checklist of skills. Toileting abilities do not impact the enrollment of a student. Annually, there are approximately 10-15 in-person regular education classroom students that require some level of toileting support.
