1.A. Review of Process for School LAND Trust and Teacher and Student Success Act (TSSA) Plans and Approvals

Description:

Dr. Michael Anderson, Associate Superintendent
Training for the Board on the process for reviewing and approving LAND Trust and TSSA plans.

Desired outcome: Board members will be prepared to effectively review and approve Land Trust plans for 2024-25.

1.B. Review of Portrait of a Graduate Materials

Description:

Ms. Tracy Miller, Board President

Ms. Niki George, Board First Vice President

Dr. Anthony Godfrey, Superintendent of Schools

Ms. Carolyn Gough, Administrator of Teaching & Learning

Review and continued discussion of the Jordan Portrait of a Graduate and Strategic Plan documents.

Desired outcome: Board members will work with the Communications Department to finalize
Portrait of a Graduate material designs for potential approval in the next business meeting.

1.C. Review of National School Board Association (NSBA) Conference 2024

Description:

Ms. Niki George, Board First Vice President

Debrief of NSBA conference recently attended by Board members.

Desired outcome: Board members will recap information collected at the conference.

1.D. Board and Superintendent Reports and Comments

Description:
Board members and the Superintendent may report on Board Advisory Committees as well as Board, District or Community Affiliated Committees to which they are appointed.
