Rationale:  To approve minutes of the 5/22/17 Board of Education Meeting.

Rationale:  Mrs. Cathi Smith and Mr. Boutwell will give an update to the board regarding the district's lunch program and will be available to answer any questions.

Rationale:  The warrant of 6/26/17 for the Board of Education to approve.

Rationale:  Ms. Warner has put in her resignation on June 5, 2017.  

Rationale:  Resignation of Mrs. Scully as of 6/14/2017.  Mrs. Scully was the Alternative Ed teacher in MBA Middle School.

Rationale:  Mr. Rob Hanover is requested a one-year leave of absence.  Mr. Hanover is the PE/Health teacher at SHS.

Rationale:  Mrs. Stephanie Jodice has handed her resignation in and will not be return to her Speech and Language position at Somers Elementary School.

Rationale:  Mr. Boutwell will present the Board of Education the contract for 2017-2018 from First Student Bus Company.

Rationale:  Mr. Boutwell will present a report on OPEB (Other Post Employment Benefits) to the board.

Rationale:  Second Warning of DSB 5141.251 - Students with Special Healthcare Needs-Accommodating Students with Special Dietary Needs.   The Policy Committee has  reviewed recommendations by CABE for policy revisions and is presenting the revised policy for second warning to the Board of Education.  

Rationale:  This is the Second Warning from the Policy Committee - Somers Superintendent Job Description 5.3.  The Board will vote on it.

Rationale:  The building administrators will present results on their building goals and be available to answer any questions board members may have.

Rationale:  Dr. Zytka will present the NWEA results.

Rationale:  Mrs. Jennifer Oliver will be at the meeting to answer any questions the board members might have about the job-sharing survey that was done.
