Rationale:
On Febriuary 6, 2017 via email request to Chair Loffredo and Superintendent of Schools Patricia Charles, Ms. Szynkowicz requested the following three (3) actions be placed on the Board meeting agenda as Action Items at the February 14, 2017 meeting:
1. There will be no negotiating by any member of the Board of Education, Middletown Public Schools and/or anyone employed by the City of Middletown with the Dattco Bus Company for the 2018 Middletown Schools bus contract.
2. That the RFP (Request For Proposal) for the Middletown Public School bus contract for 2018 be sent to every bus company in the State of Connecticut.
3. Proof of the RFP being sent to every bus company in Connecticut, along with contact information and a copy of the RFP to be provided to all Board of Education members.
