A meeting was held on April 26, 2006, with representatives from the Board of Education, Middletown Federation of Teachers, and administration to review Professional Improvement Fund proposals for funding. Of the nine proposals submitted, five are being recommended for funding. In keeping with the Middletown Federation of Teachers/Middletown Board of Education contract, monies have been allocated for the 2006-2007 school year to support teacher's professional and personal development. The total allocation amount is $5,500.
