Mill Creek Academy Update
Construction Update
Budget Status Update

Discussion:

Mill Creek Academy Update - The district met virtually with MDE last week regarding Mill Creek Academy to ask some clarifying questions about Kindergarten screening day. The district still does not have an answer either way.
Construction Update - The Grand Opening Celebration for the Athletic Complex is this Thursday at 6:00p.m. Mr. Brett Graham has had such a great vision with this event and deserves so much credit in bringing it all together.
Budget Status Update - Mr. McKenna and Ms. McCann reported that there still isn't formal numbers from the state for the per pupil funding. These amounts will directly impact Mill Creek Academy's funding. The taxable value is approximately an increase of 9.5-9.6 percent. The state is looking to reduce retirement benefits that districts are required to pay. This would be a decrease for our district of 22-25%. The state is also stating that districts could potentially roll over budgets as is until their numbers are final.

These committees met last week and Rob Payne gave updated nutritional numbers in the food service department.
