Hall of Fame Inductees

Discussion:

Construction Update: Superintendent McKenna reported that the construction continues. Lakeland received the correct-sized furniture over winter break and the desks that were too large will wait to move to CMS when it's ready. A temporary wall was removed near the back of the new high school offices the day after students left for break. It is not believed that we will play competitively in the new gym this spring. The new high school office space, however, will be complete in the next couple of weeks to move into. High school students in Mrs. Daly's class are videoing the progress of construction.
Sustaining & Maintaining: Met with a much smaller group before break and it seems as though there are less questions and word has traveled about what we are trying to accomplish. Each week central office works together to complete documents for the proposed Mill Creek Academy.
MiKids Grant: This grant was received at over $120,000 and is expected to fund the summer school program this year.
Hall of Fame: Brett Graham has worked with a committee to receive nominations for inductees. Seven will be recognized at the home basketball game on January 19th, 2024.
