Lease Purchase Agreement
Discussion:
Mr. Tharman updated the board on the progress of the lease purchase agreement with First National Bank. All documents have been reviewed, approved and signatures are being attained. The windows are projected to be delivered on August 17th .... and work is to start around August 19th. We may have to move students to a separate location for a day or so, but we will be able to make it work.

Revenue Neutral Rate
Discussion:
Mr. Tharman visited with the board about the Revenue Neutral Rate. Even though the preliminary numbers do not indicate the need to exceed the rate, if the county assessed valuations change and we have not voted to do so, the funding we would have received will not be available. The recommendation is to move forward with the notification to the county clerks of our intent to exceed the RNR.

Superintendent / 9-12 Principal Report
Discussion:
Mr. Tharman reported that the summer is coming to a close quickly. He will be going to Topeka for a budget review on July 19th. Enrollment has been set for August 5th, 6th, 9th, & 10th by appointment. Using the same format as last year. Kinze will be getting that information published next week. Next board meeting will be August 9th.

K-8 Principal Report
Discussion:
Mr. Gebhard shared that he had attended a lot of summer sports events this year. We are still in need of bus drivers and Para-professionals. More information will be coming out in regards to the Kindergarten Readiness. Mrs. Thalheim has been helping out with summer weight lifting.
