5.C. Heart of Texas System of Care Grant

JJAEP, CPS, MHMR, and Hill County ISDs are applying for a grant that would place a counselor in interested districts to address mental health concerns of students. If earned, a counselor will be placed in Hillsboro ISD for the16-17 school year, and additional counselors placed in schools during the following years. In addition, the grant will support a rural case manager who will need a centrally located office. Tina Lincoln has asked for space here at HCSSA. We do have a conference room that could be made available to this case manager 5 mornings a week.
