Discussion:
Mr. Hoesing explained the negotiated agreement for the 2020-21 school year is comparable to surrounding districts.

8.1. Superintendent
Discussion:
Mr. Hoesing advised the Board he would make necessary arrangements for a memorial to send for Mr. Higgins whose son in-law that passed away. Wausa Public School is a finalist for the Nebraska Fine Arts District award. Building and Grounds, Mr. Hoesing advised the Board of a mishap that occurred. Strategic Planning, Terry Nelson and Mr. Hoesing spoke with the Leadership Committee, it was brought up that a community website and someone to update it is needed. The Leadership Committee wants to know how much Wausa Public School would be willing to contribute to the cost. Discussion was held by the Board on this topic, different options were discussed, but yes the Board is behind wanting a better website and digital footprint but is unsure at this time how much they are willing to contribute and how to include the community with this. Discussion was held on air hoses for the new shop building. Mr. Hoesing advised the board of what committees he needs to meet with. Mr. Hoesing discussed legislative issues with the Board.

9.1. Athletic Training
Discussion:
The position of an Athletic Trainer was discussed and the need for our student athletes.

Discussion:
Mr. Hoesing advised the Board of the committees he needs to meet with. The Committees meeting will be January 29th @ 7:00pm.
