6.1. Superintendent
Discussion:
Mr. Hoesing discussed the upcoming NASB/NRCSA workshops and the new board member workshops. He is very excited for both of these as they provide great information. There is also a Presiden't retreat and a NRCSA Spring conference in the works on future dates. He also discussed teacher negotiations and the upcoming negotiations for all staff. The Superintendent's evaluation will be sent out soon. He also noted Mr. Anderson has been working on teacher's evaluations. Lastly he discussed Aguest results and school ratings. He also included a letter he sent to David City Schools for helping us out with transportation when our bus broke down outside of school.

6.2. Principal
Discussion:
Mr. Anderson discussed the NCA Leadership Summit we will be sending 14 students and two coaches to. Great summit presenting leadership guidance. He also discussed the UNL LIfeskills Rally our middle schools students 5-8th grade attended.Our Veterans Day program was a very well presented program. Mrs. Clausen did a wonderful job with the band students. Lots of compliments were received on the program as a whole. He discussed testing our kids have done as far as ASVAB and ACT classes. Lastly, he touched on the co-ops we have going on. FFA is going well. JH wrestling is going well. JHBB has started and there are higher numbers than expected, but all is going well.
Mrs. Heimes discussed the leadership cadre that was held at ESU. They are reaching their goals to meet standards and exploring all options to meet and keep meeting them. Progress reports showed literacy growth with our special education students. She also discussed the Book Vending machine we received and the amount of books earned by students with their accelerator reading goals. She noted the Veterans Day program was an amazing program followed by a great meal prepared by our lunch staff. She discussed the upcoming leadership walk through Mr. Anderson and Mrs. Heimes will attend. She also touched on the In-School Savings Program we will introduce to K-6th grade students. FBLA officers and our bank partner will help assist. |

Discussion:
Mr. Anderson read over Mr. Conn's report. He touched on the high school basketball season. One-acts is kicking off and the music program's All State Choir will get underway.

Discussion:
Safety Audit walk through of Wausa's Safety and Security Plan conducted by Craig Frerichs was presented to the board and all the findings.

Discussion:
NRCSA did a walk through, conducted interviews, and will gather all data and have a report in the future
