V.A. The Board may elect to convene in closed (executive) session to deliberate these personnel matters, as permitted by section 551.074 (a) (1), Tex. Gov’t. Code.

V.B. The Board may also elect to convene in closed (executive) session to consult with its attorney regarding legal aspects of these matters, as permitted by section 551.071 (2), Tex. Gov’t Code.

VI. Action after Closed Session (if needed)

VI.A. Superintendent Dr. Hudson has verbally advised the Jasper ISD Board of his intention to tender his resignation at this Special Meeting, in order to accept, if offered, the position of Superintendent of Schools, Cedar Hill ISD. Dr. Hudson has been named Lone Finalist for that position. Thus, at this Special Meeting the Board expects to receive Dr. Hudson’s written resignation. If the Board agrees to take action to accept Dr. Hudson’s resignation as submitted, such action may be taken in this Special Meeting.

VI.B. Consider and, if appropriate, approve Contract for Interim Superintendent
