Recognition of Student and Staff Achievements
Discussion:
Mr. Denis had students model the old and new band uniforms. They were very thankful to the board for approving the new uniforms. Mrs. Derby, GISD Cafeteria Manager was presented an award from the USDA for being a fresh farm district.

Mr. Steven Berry presented an update of the project to the board. There were all samples of materials to be used in the new high school.

Mrs. Presented the elementary report. She thanked the board for all they do. Mr. Prince gave the middle school report. 8th grade went on a field trip for a career day at SFA. They really enjoyed that. Mr. Compton gave the high school report.
