Open Forum:  Recognize Visitors: The Marion ISD Board of Trustees designates a time for audience participation at the beginning of each regular meeting to hear persons who desire to make comments. In accordance with Board Policy BED(LOCAL), those wishing to speak shall sign up before the meeting begins stating the concern or noting the agenda item they wish to address. Audience participation is limited to five minutes, audiences of more than five persons shall appoint a representative, and the Board shall not deliberate any subject not on the posted agenda.

Closed Session - The Marion ISD Board of Trustees will convene in a closed meeting pursuant to the following sections of the Texas Government Codes:

Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.071, consultation with attorney regarding legal issues related to parent grievance regarding student discipline and high school principal grievance.

Pursuant to Texas Government Code Sections 551.082, & 551.0821, conduct parent grievance and deliberation concerning student disciplinary decision.

Pursuant to Texas Government Code, Section 551.074, conduct high school principal grievance and deliberation regarding same.

Section 551.072 to deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property contract.

Open Session: Consider and take possible action regarding items discussed in closed session.

Discussion and possible action regarding parent grievance regarding student disciplinary decision.

Discussion and possible action regarding high school principal grievance.

Consider and take possible action on  the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property contract.

Action Items

Review and consider approval of transfer students and take action as necessary.

Discuss and consider Marion State Bank/Marion Independent School District Bulldog Master Card Check Card Program and take action as necessary.
