Discussion:
At this time the board can entertain comments from the community on the topic of the tax asking and setting the levy for the 2019-2020 school year. Individual speakers are limited to 5 minutes, with a total hearing period of 30 minutes. The board president can extent the time frames if it has a value to the boards decision.
Mr. Finkey presented information on the budget. SEM has lost about $4,100,000 in evaluation. SEM is asking for a $60,000 decrease in tax asking. Tax asking of $3,863,130 |
