6.1. Consideration of recognition of the SEM-EA as the bargaining unit for the certified staff for the 2021-2022 school year.
Rationale:
As part of statue 48-808.01 On or before September 1 of the year preceding the contract year, the board of education needs to recognize the bargaining unit that they will negotiate with.

Statue 79-724 requires every Nebraska school to appoint a committee of three members to the Americanism committee. This year with the new social studies requirements this will be an important assignment.
