VII.A. Superintendent's Report
Discussion:
Linda Gibson had several good things and updates for the Board and community:
We will be holding summer school this year at all sites. Currently, PHS has 69 students registered, RCMS has 25, JRE has 59 and PES has 58. This is a great opportunity for students to have more class time over the summer. Linda met with Mary Springer with the Elks recently. They are excited to start up the Student of the Month award at JRE next school year. May 6th was the School Lunch Hero Day. Since it fell on a Friday, SW Food Excellence and Gila County Health Community Health Department provided flowers and a gift. The Human Resources department will be rolling out Substitute training and group onboarding soon. RCMS and PHS had concerts recently. Kudos to Christy Varner and Alan Simpson. The performances were great. Mother/Daughter dance was a hit as well as the JRE held a Spring Fling. |
