The meeting was called to order at 4:54pm.

V.A. Superintendent's Report
Discussion:
Linda Gibson reviewed some great things happening in our district.
Trevor Creighton took students to a tech school in Phoenix. This ties in with AVID which promotes all sorts of secondary education. Katrina Sacco attended the Level III AVID Conference last week as our representative. RCMS hosted an AVID luncheon. It was fantastic to see the public speaking skills that the students had been working on. DECA has gone to state and are now on the way to the national competitions. Spring sports are underway, and you can see the numerous banners lining the fences at the softball and baseball fields. Just as in the dome. Danzeisen Dairy stepped up and supported our youth on Thursday as they gathered to remember a fellow student. |

V.B. Governing Board
Discussion:
Barbara Underwood also commented on the Dairy and the scrapbooking that took place for the youth to make mementos. She also attended the AVID luncheon and was so impressed by the confidence radiating from the students in her group. Barb commented on the play she recently attended and how the staff were there to support the kids.

Linda Gibson stated that there were six cases of COVID in the district of this date. The Arizona Department of Health has changed their dashboard and updates it weekly.
